This month's competition style is Low Gravity Beers. There is still time to get your entries in for the Spice/Herb/Vegetable beer, BJCP category 21. The judging for this latter competition will be on Wednesday, December 13.

Hello, if you are reading this on paper either you printed out the web edition or you received the last newsletter delivered by the US postal service. After this month, the newsletter will be available only on the internet. The decision to go totally electronic was an easy one. Most all of the active membership gets its news from the web edition of the newsletter. It costs about $10.00 per month for each mailing. Starting with January's newsletter we will be 100% electronic. The newsletter is available at http://hbd.org/ford .
